I have El Capitan os in an Imac and have had success with boot camp for a couple of years but now boot camp does not work. Usually pressing the option key boots mac. Without the options key windows 10 boots. After several attempts trying to boot mac, windows 10 boots only. Is there a fix?

YES UPGRADED TO W10 1903 AND AUTOMATIC UPGRADES IS ENABLED.
Can you rollback from 1903 back the the earlier version?
I can't roll back to an earlier version of Windows 10 because I updated more than 10 days ago.
Can you save your important files, remove the current Windows installation and re-install using W10 1803 and restore your files?
No but it's no big deal if all is lost.

Then my recommendation is to try and install 1809.
