Why does Apple TV show up as an option when I am on a phone call and tap "Speaker" ... I don't want to see this as now it requires me to tap twice for speaker phone (trust me, this is annoying!).

*Solved* (at least for me anyway). I did a hard reset on my iphone X (Volume up, Volume down, Hold power button until apple logo). Then made a test call and the apple tv audio source went away.
Was on a trip. Buddy brought his apple tv, we air played to it. For the next 3 days that apple tv came up as an audio source for calls even though he lives in an entirely different house in our complex. Good luck

not good expected behavior. Pretty stupid IMO. Why would I want to play a phone call over a TV?
That didnt show up again because of the reset, but once you'll use your apple tv again or airplay to it it'll be back :/

How long did it take you to actually poll all users?

So I just noticed today that this issue has been resolved on my iPhone. No updates were done. I did not do anything to it. It was still happening as of a few days ago. Now it’s working as it should.
I think my Apple tv updated on its own. Not sure if that’s what did it for mine or not, but it is definitely working like normal. I did not sign out anywhere and I am on the same network.

Truly annoying. There should definitely be an option to turn that off. It’s useless.

No not yet. I just upgraded to 13.4 and it still shows up. This is EXTREMELY irritating!

Yes I tried unpairing it and not using the app (completely closed out), along with a restart.
