New Mac, Old Desktop

I've just got a new MacBook Pro, deliberately chose not to migrate anything from my old MacBook, but the millions of files from my old desktop have all appeared on the new machine.

Is there a way to undo this? One of the things I was looking forward to about the new machine was starting with a 'clean slate'.

Are you using iCloud? This could be the reason why. If you sign out of iCloud on your new machine it should give you an option to remove the files which were synced too.

You could also turn of syncing on your old desktop and delete the files on the new one so your newly created files will sync to iCloud.
