Belkin Boost up issue with Apple Watch

I just got a Belkin Boost up for iPhone and AppleWatch. When I place the watch on the charger it makes the lightning bolt for a minute or so but then reboots the watch which then displays the apple logo until I remove it. Then it continues the boot up process and has not held any charge.

It sounds like your watch battery is very discharged. Try charging with the original (genuine Apple) magnetic charging cable and a known good Apple USB power adapter like the one for your iPhone (any adapter should be OK but Apple is ideal). That should prove whether the watch is capable of charging, and tell your whether the problem is with Belkin or the watch.

All bets are off if you are running a beta, anything can happen and there are clear warnings all over the Internet about (not) using beta software on any equipment you can’t afford to have go dysfunctional. However with it charging correctly using a different charger my gut feeling is that it will turn out to be a problem in the third party charger rather than a software bug, because the watch simply sees the charger as a source of power.
