Downloading photos from iPhone to PC.
I own an iPhone 6. It’s storage status is as below:
iPhone: 14.5 GB of 16 GB used.
iCloud: 4.6 GB of 5 GB used.
Out of these 4.6 GB, 3.8 GB are occupied by photos.
I want to transfer these photos to my PC.
The problem I am facing is as below:
With the help of a software called ‘iMazing’, I obtained backup of the iPhone on my PC. I tried to download photos from this back up to my PC. However when I tried to do this, I got a message:
“The photo (details about the photo) cannot be transferred because it’s stored in iCloud and not on your device.
You first need to display this picture on your device in the ‘photos’ app to trigger it’s download. This will enable transfer of the full resolution version. Alternatively, you can transfer it’s thumbnail instead. Would you like to copy the thumbnail?”
I want to copy the full resolution version of photos.
However, there is no space on the iPhone to download the photos in iCloud.
I would be grateful if someone can suggest a solution to this problem.
I would like to add here:
I am a senior citizen with chronic back problem which restricts my movements. I am heavily dependent on phone and internet for a lot of my day to day activities.
