my iPhone seems as if someone is ghost typing

I have a fairly new iPhone x that I've had only 1 year. No damage, screen damage or anything. It literally hasn't come out the case. But my phone seems as if someone is ghost typing. I can't open any apps without the phone going crazy.

“Ghost touch” could be anything from a faulty connection (ribbon connector or solder ball), a loose connection, failing touch control IC, or a failing digitizer. The last one is the most likely, although it could be one of the other. If it’s the digitizer, the fix would be a new screen assembly. If it’s just a loose connector then the fix would probably be free at an Apple Store. You could bring it in for a diagnosis.

If you don’t have an Apple Store nearby, then it might cost you to get a diagnosis from an Apple Authorized Service Privider.
