my macbook pro 10.12.6 3.5 ghz i7 randomly wants to close programs and shut down

I leave my macbook pro for 10 minutes or so and when I log back in (set to require login password after 5 minutes) it has messages like "pages prevented shutdown", or it wil close my browser automatically trying to shut down.
