need Printer for 2014 iMac running Maverick

Hello - I've been out of the computer game for a while. Do any of the newer printers run with iMacs running OSX 10.9.5 Maverick? The HP tango lists that it is compatible only with late 2014 iMacs (running 10.10 or higher).

I just wanted to see if I could get a recommendation. Saw as a possibility the HP laser jet P1102X but expensive.

My Epson Artisan 730 worked like a champ on all versions of macOS up and including 10.14.6

I have been lied to twice by online customer reps about this, telling me this or that printer will work when it won't
