Your iCloud storage is almost full. False

A few days ago I received a message saying the my iCloud Drive is almost full and buy more storage because only 342MB are available, however all my data in the "iCloud Drive" folder takes up 1.4GB of the 5GB. Does anybody knows how to fix that? I'm not in US so iCloud supports only gives me the options to contact my phone carrier (useless) and take in my computer to a store... I'm on an iMac, does users need to take their computers just to fix something that looks like is a problem on their servers?
