Sending Pics to non-iPhone users

SMS is a text only message protocol it cannot support images at all.

If you need to send a picture to an android user, you use MMS messages. If you attach an image to an SMS message meant for an android user, it should automatically turn into an MMS message. Do note MMS messages require Wifi or Data.

Certainly. Have you enabled the MMS functionality on your phone? Do you have MMS capability from your cellular provider? Do you have cellular data enabled?
