#images not working with iOS 12.4

I have rebooted, have visited settings cellular and turned on photos, removed from app strip, turned off and then added back. When selecting #images icon I do a search on any choice of items and ‘no results’ no matter what search I choose.

Any suggestions to resolve?

For the 3rd time - I tried all published troubleshooting steps and self-service and quite tech literate. After removing the app for 3 days and reinstalling for the 4th time it has ‘mysteriously’ started to work again. No other changes.

Mine was doing the same thing. I found a suggestion on another thread to change the region under settings. I changed it to UK and language to English (UK). I then went back to iMessages and #images was working. I was then able to switch back to US and continue to use #images with no problems. Hope this helps.
