i bought an iphone xr and it had activation lock on it. the seller won’t contact me back and i’m pretty sure it was stolen. i put it in recover mode and can’t get in. is there any way I can get it it no. i was thinking about bringing it to the apple store if they could do anything. please help.

Apple will not help you with this.
Turn it over to the police. If you do, and give them all the information you have on the seller, they are not likely to charge you with receiving stolen property.
Nothing you can do I’m afraid, and Apple won’t help you. Activation lock is designed to stop a phone being used if it’s stolen.
