iCloud mix up

Have had iPhone and iPad with ICloud handoff for a number of years. Gave my husband an iPad, Christmas 2017, unable to set up ICloud in his name so all my info appeared on his IPad. Thought this was correct. Both of us got new iPhones this week. all of pictures are on his phone and iPad. What does it take to establish him a separate ICloud? With two Apple devices, he should have his own cloud space.

He can readily create his own AppleID (How to create a new Apple ID - Apple Support) - all he needs is an email address. He can then use that AppleID to sign into all Apple services and create his own accounts for them the first time he does so (iCloud, iMessage, FaceTime, etc). When he signs into iCloud with his own AppleID he will create his own iCloud account, independent of yours.
