Cannot find Photo Book FILES

I click on Pictures in Finder Favorites in sidebar. That doesn't seem to help, so I type Photo Booth in Spotlight. That takes me to Photo Booth Library. Clicking on Photo Booth Library doesn't produce any files; instead, it just shows the usual Photo Booth screen where I can take my picture. It also has ten pictures at the bottom that I recently took.

How can I find the Photo Book FILES?

If you are indeed talking about Photo Booth, you can ctrl-click on the photos at the bottom and choose Export…

With one selected, you can do the same from the File menu.

If you really need to get to the files in the Library, ctrl-click on the Photo Booth Library and choose Show Package Contents.

There is a folder for Originals and a folder called Pictures which would have the edited versions.

It seems to me that “Photo Book” used to be buried among the many entries produced when I clicked on “Pictures” in the sidebar. That’s no longer true. Now, clicking on that “Pictures” produces many files, but no “Photo Booth.”

If I type, “Photo Booth” in the “Pictures” search bar, I get:

 A.  Photo Booth, which takes me to “Photo Booth,” which takes me to the Photo Booth I use to take pictures

B.  Photo Booth Library, which takes me to the same Photo Booth that I use to take pictures.

I have already described what happens when I use “Spotlight.”

Is there another way?

"Did you read and try any of the options I posted?"

It seems to me that I did and said I did, not exactly like that, but in the description of the steps I had taken. Did you read what I had to say? Well, no matter now. I've found what I suppose is now the way Photo Booth files are stored, not in a separate Photo Booth folder, but mixed together with all the photos in the computer. This "new" way is definitely not very convenient for browsing through Photo Booth photos.

None of this has anything to do with the question I asked.

You finally got close in the next post.

However, instead of ctrl-clicking on Photo Booth Library like I suggested, you just double-clicked on it again or did some other action to open the Photo Booth Library.

When you ask Finder to open the Photo Booth Library, it opens the "file" just like any other app. It doesn't open the package. You need to follow the instructions I posted to view the contents of the Photo Booth Library package.

All he knew was the solution. As to the existence of the "Photo Booth Library," I won't say any more. I guess you could say that the words, "Photo Booth Library" appeared during my efforts, but was it the "Photo Booth LIbrary" that I needed. Apparently not. Only the guy who "didn't know what he was talking about" was able to find that one. By the way, I don't think I've ever commented on the use of "Control Click." Well, I did try that a few times, but it didn't help. At the end of the day. it may very well be that one solution doesn't fit all. I'd say that most Mac users probably never had the problems with "Photo Booth Library" that I did. That means that there is something different about my computer. Corrupted files, faulty settings, who knows. The important thing is that I have my "Photo Booth back. Others never had any problem. If they did, maybe your "Control Click" trick would be enough for them. It wasn't for me. You can keep this conversation going all day if you want, but it will have only one participant. I have nothing more to say.

Photos Library is the Library where the Items inside of Photos are stored.

The loose files with names like Photo on 1-17-19 at 12.00 PM.jpg are what is supposed to be stored inside the Photo Booth library.

You have the Pictures folder Grouped by Date, so you may have a Photo Booth library somewhere in there, but I can't see all of the contents. I don't know why the Photo Booth files are loose in that folder unless you exported them to there.

I emphatically deny that, but here's the answer:

G0>Home>Dropbox (for me, anyway)>Photoshop Library>Actions>Show Package Contents>Pictures.

The man I talked to (You didn't think I figured this out, did you?) said to be sure NOT to change anything in the Photo Booth folder. Don't move, rename, delete, etc. anything there. If you do, bad things can happen. I don't know what to say about Dropbox. Perhaps you can advise people that don't have it what to do.
