battery screw stuck by leaking battery

I had this problem today ,after reading way too many posts and videos and breaking a nickel trying to unscrew this darn screw I tried to drill a couple of holes near the screw auto add penetrant NO SUCCESS, so here's what I did , I took my dremel to the bottom and cut a slot a little longer than the screw ,about 3/4in long and only deep enough to cut the threads relieving the pressure on the screw by gently prying it wider while using a screwdriver to work the screw loose. a lot easier than those other guys and lucky for me it was only the battery that contacted the screw. I then photographed the damage planning to call Duracell for battery warranty.

to clean the mess used backing soda /vinegar on Qtips then plain water . to finish it I used some Dielectric tune up grease to protect the area from future damage .

I then tested my keypad by typing THIS POST....I do hope this is useful to somebody
