I have all the music I want from iTunes library transferred to my iPad. When I play music, songs just keep repeating unless I manually select the next song. Can I do anything so it just automatically plays the next song without me having to manually select?

I know all these .... but what used to be there to tap , is NO LONGER ... i found a weirdway to get a playlist to play thru ... I bring up add to next up - the particular playlist i want .... but on the iPad , I can NO LONGER click on a song in song list with out it continueing to play , over and over and over .... because the shuffle symbol just isn't there (in fact I have to get next up and clear , cause the song goes to infinity .... arghhhhhh !!!!
Try this:
While you’re on the ‘song currently playing’ screen', look in the upper right, right at the end of the “elapsed time” indicator do you see the shuffle button? If you do, tap it and it should turn blue.
