I have an Apple Music account but bought a physical album that includes songs not available on Apple Music. I have burned the album into my iTunes account on my MacBook but am unable to transfer it to my phone when syncing. Is it possible to transfer the imported CD from my computer onto my phone while having Apple Music?

You'll want to make sure that iCloud Music Library is enabled on both of your devices: Turn on iCloud Music Library with Apple Music. When iCloud Music Library is enabled, if an album can't be matched with the Apple Music Library, it will be uploaded using iCloud Music Library. Go to File > Library > Update iCloud Music Library. It should then sync the album to your iPhone from your iTunes Library on your computer.
