When I go to screen mirroring on my iPhone 8 it is asking for an onscreen code for the Q80 TV but there is no code showing on the TV or anywhere- can anyone help me on how to get the code?
Have you opened up the Apple TV app on your TV? That should be where you see the code when you try to mirror.
Actually, I just found this on the hardware community. On the Apple TV app are you able to do the following:
Settings﹥AirPlay﹥Allow Access﹥Require Password﹥On|Off
Settings﹥AirPlay﹥Allow Access﹥Password﹥••••••
There is no code showing. On the screen mirroring my phone shows the Samsung Q80 TV and asks for the code but there is no code showing on the Apple TV - don't k now what to do ?
At this point you may want to talk to Samsung and see if they have an answer or possibly post in the Apple TV community.
I do have the Apple TV app and that's where I look for the code but there is no code showing - very strange ?

What I mean is that on your TV you should have different apps. I don’t have the same TV but my guess is you should have an app called Apple TV. You would need to be in that app for the code to show up. You would also need to be in that app anytime you want to mirror your iPhone.
