Centre of the screen not working. I have noticed a slight crack at the top

Has anyone had an issue with th Apple Watch regarding centre of the screen not working? I have noticed a slight crack at the top and think that this could be the problem, but it’s tiny.

The display still works and you have to really look for the crack.

In my opinion, It’s pretty pore and not fit for purpose if this has wrecked my watch and Apple expect me to pay a fortune to get it fixed.

Any help would be appreciated.
