My card says NOT AVAILABLE FOR IN APP PAYMENTS

I am trying to use Apple Pay to send a payment to a friend in a text message. When I go to select which card to use, the card that I want to select says NOT AVAILABLE FOR IN APP PAYMENTS and (Not accepted by app)?

I can’t add my card to apple pay I can’t add cards to apple pay. Whenever I tap ‘add card’ it shows a information. I can’t do nothing with that.

Did you add that card to your Apple ID? It cannot be a credit card.
