Iphone X Unable to Activate after update

About 10 days ago, prompt by information on

Settings on my IPhone X (that there is an update available) I connected my IPhone

to MacBook Computer and successfully was able to back up my phone.

After that iTunes downloaded new firmware and

completed restart.

Next I got following message that there is

another update available. So I clicked yes to I want to update again.

After all proceeds similar to above I got a

massage: Unable to Activate – An update is required to activate your iPhone.

The only options I have is go back or  shutdown device.

If I shout down, after restart getting the same

screen.

I already called Apple on line support, they

could not help me and send me to Apple Store.

I have visited Apple Store, and again the same

problem and no solution.

Apple Store Lead hand setup a case with

escalation team to resolve the issue.

I waited one week to get any reply but no one

called me back.

I called yesterday support line for follow up

and get connected with Senior Advisor. We went again with all those (connect to

PC, download, update, reset, press up and down etc) and still the same issue.

After about 40 minutes Apple support offered me

service repair for $700+ (plus tax). They stating that there is an hardware

issue.

FYI my phone warranty expired in June 2019, and

phone was working perfectly fine before updating about 10 days ago.

Just wondering if anyone had the same issue and

was able to resolved?
