iPhone 4 and Jawbone Icon A2DP issue

I have iPhone paired and working with for incoming and outgoing calls fine. I hear annoucements for call ID and battery life etc but...

I have A2DP set up on My Talk for Jawbone and i have had many of the apps for the radio or music playing via the Jawbone. But it comes and goes and currently i have sound for calls in headset but everything else is via iPhone speaker.

I want to force all sound for texts, music, radio app etc to go via bluetooth headset. Jawbone say its Apple issue as jawbone appears to work fine and that they think a setting somewhere can be set to default all audio to bluetooth but i cannot find it...and why does it seem to work sometimes?

Any ideas how to remedy and set?
