How to export contacts into .csv. from iPhone 8+

Once you have the vCard file. Open Contacts on Google in a web browser and select Import as vCard.

1. On your computer, go to Google Contacts.
2. On the left, click More  Import.
3. Click Select File.
4. Choose your file.
5. Click Import.

After Import in the same web browser, export as CSV.

Your job is done.

There isn't an "export" option in iCloud. There is an "export VCard" option, but that is not the same thing. Exporting a vCard is something that can already be done directly in the Contact App.

I think the question is how to export contacts into a .csv file, which is different than a vCard file.

Go to iCloud.com on a computer and select the contacts icon. In the bottom left click on settings (the gear) then click on select all and click on settings again and select export.

I need to export icloud contacts into a csv file. Is tehre a way to do this?

Sorry that does not work. Apparently, all the contacts fold as one name and when I try importing the same into the outlook it just does not work.

My answer is for exporting, not importing.

This process only exports 1 record even though select all was chosen and you can visually see all are selected. Doesn't work!

This assumes you have Google Contacts and want to use it. A more straightforward way would be to export from Apple Contacts to a CSV file.

I don't need my whole contacts list. Just a group. Is there a way to just export a group? None of my contacts are grouped on my iCloud.

Also confirm, this process does not work. Produces 1 VCF record, which cannot be opened
