I get an alert in my iPhone that FaceTime is now being used on my iMac. I am sitting at my iMac but I am not using FaceTime. I changed my AppleID password just in case. I look at my camera on the iMac and the green light is not on. Why would I receive the alert? This has happened before with the alert on my iPad.

was anyone signing into one of your devices with that ID when the alert went off?
I don't think this is a malicious attack, I think it's just the OS doing what it's told by the developers when they designed it but trying to be sure.

Yes, my family. Maybe the kids are using on their iPhones at school? However the alert specifically said it was being used on my iMac and I did not have FaceTime open on my iMac.
