Strange notification

I got a notification on my iPhone saying that my Apple ID and phone number are being used for FaceTime on a new iPad. None of my devices were being used for FaceTime. What does this mean or what shall I do?

Check your device list to see if there is a device signed in that you don't recognize. You can remove the device using the steps in the article below. As a precaution, change your password.
