Mac keeps asking for the keychain password for accountsd and identityservicesd. Have already created a new login keychain

My mac keeps asking for the keychain password for accountsd and identityservicesd. This happened about a month ago too so I had to create a new login keychain (using these instructions: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT202860). But I haven't changed my mac login password since then so I don't know why it is happening. Is it OK to provide the password for accountsd and identityservicesd? Finding lots of different info online. I don't want to create another keychain because I don't want the hassle of resetting ALL of my passwords again.
