Face ID doesn’t recognize me for Apple Pay

Tried to pay off Apple Card using Apple Pay. Face reader doesn’t recognize me.

If Face ID isn't working on your iPhone or iPad Pro - Apple Support

If the Face ID doesn't work when trying to use Apple Pay then you should see an option to use the passcode instead.
