I am trying to sign into Imessage on my Mac. I am not sure what I did to disable it but once I sign in any message i try to send get a red !
I have tried to reset, turn on and off, etc.. and nothing seems to help.
Does anyone know a solution?

To find out if it's system wide or user specific, try this...
Open System Preferences>Users & Groups, unlock the lock, click on the little plus icon, make a new admin account, log out & into the new account.
Does it work in the new account?

Try entering your password followed by the passcode...

When I go to sign into Icloud on my MAC, it brings a prompt to enter your passcode but when I enter it, it says verification failed.
it only allows me to enter 4 digits.
And the most recent 4 digits do not work?
I can not sign into Imessage on my MAC, I have tried almost everything I have read.
