Is Mackeeper a reliable company
can it be trusted if I download to my IMAC? and can I easily remove it from my IMAC?

DO NOT INSTALL MACKEEPER! It's not neccesary, it can do damage, and it can be difficult to remove. It's very aggressively marketed but there have been a huge number of complaints about it.
You don't need anything which claims to 'clean' your Mac - most of these programs can do damage, and your Mac is well capable of looking after itself.
Stay away from MacKeeper like the plague.
