Is there anywhere I can buy only the plastic hinges? I was cleaning my keyboard and two of the hinges had prongs snap off (not the quality I'd expect from a 5k computer) and now I can't stick my F8 and =+ keys back on. I would like to avoid spending 14 USD + shipping for the all 3 parts of the key just because 1mm of plastic snapped/bent off the hinge.
Not sure if they'll do it for the butterfly keys, but you see that the key caps and mechanism are replaceable, although everything underneath is a lot harder to fix. I've gone to an Apple Store where I got my escape key on a Unibody MBP replaced for free. I still had the escape cap and only needed a function key-sized scissor mechanism, but the employee came out with a complete key with hinge in a plastic bag.
