iTunes won't let me sign in on my desktop.

When trying to do anything on iTunes, I'm repeatedly prompted to sign into my apple account. My phone then pings that I'm trying to sign in on a computer, and gives me an "allow" prompt, which I accept, but then nothing changes on the desktop side. This is incredibly frustrating. ):
