Mojave 10.14.6 - When I print it defaults to Landscape

This has happened to me for ages. I've just been annoyed and changed it as needed but I'm in the middle of printing a LOT of documents and this is too annoying. I found an earlier thread that told me to do something in Page Setup in Safari but this version of Safari doesn't have Page Setup. I found another thread that told me to launch Text Edit, go to Page Setup, select Any Printer under Format, change the layout to Portrait, and then to check "Save As Default" but there is no Save As Default to check in this version of Text Edit.

Is there a plist I can delete or something to have it default to Portrait everywhere like every one else's Mac?

I decided to try all Apple apps to see if I could find one that would let me Save As Default, as prior threads had suggested with Safari or TextEdit and I found one!!

In Mail, open an email and select Print from the File menu. Change the Orientation to Portrait. Under the Presets pop-up, choose "Save Current Settings As Preset" and then select "All printers" in the window that pops up and then click OK.

This seems to have solved the "Landscape" issue for almost all apps I have checked thus far (not Excel, but there might be something else going on there).

Huzzah!
