MacBook Pro mid 2012 where is the cd/dvd?

I have just purchased the above refurbished notebook. Finder or any other search is unable to find the cd/DVD player. I can eject the disc on the keyboard, but that is it

MacBook Pro 15 keeps ejecting dvd and data cd, everything but music cd, any help? I have an old MacBook Pro 15" Core 2 Duo 2,2 with built-in superdrive. The harddrive was replaced, I am trying to install again Logic but the unit keeps ejecting the dvd (Logic). Help my Internal DVD is gone!! Macbook ( 13 inch mid 2010 ) MacOS High Sierra on 9/17/22 I did an upgrade like apple wanted me to do " Security Update" it said, and now my internal DVD is gone, I can't even take my DVD out because the eject key is also gone!! Why would apple have me do an update like this??did they know this could happen? what can I do to get my internal DVD back?

It should be on the right side of the computer.
