Apple iPhone X water damage breach Australian consumer law?

Hi, today my iPhone X got wet in my pocket/bag from rain and has broken. This is the second iPhone X I have owned that has succumb to water damage despite being within the IP68 parameters. I believe both of these phones were faulty and have failed their IP68 certificates. IP68 states that the iPhone X is water resistant to half a metre (submerged) of water for up to 30 minutes. I cant keep paying $800 to get these phones fixed, I believe there is a breach of section 18 of the Australian consumer law that states a "A person must not, in trade or commerce, engage in conduct that is misleading or deceptive or is likely to mislead or deceive".
