When I signed on this morning something pop up saying I had viruses 290 issues found Fix and enjoy a performance boost. Is this a scam?

That's what I was thinking.
290 - That's all? LOL! It's a scam and a poorly conceived one. There are no known viruses that attack Mac OS let alone 290 of them.
