Deleted Music

I accidentally deleted a song from my iPhone that I had purchased in 2017. Instead of selecting "Remove Downloads" I selected "Delete from Library". I went to try to redownload it from my purchases on my phone's iTunes app, but it was nowhere to be seen. I've searched through my purchase history and, thankfully, it was still there but there was no way to download it. The iTunes website said to report a problem if you can't redownload a purchased item, but when I went to do so it wouldn't allow me to report anything past the last few months. I tried clicking and dragging it over to my iPhone from my iMac, but it just starting dowloading the music from my computer automatically and I don't know how to prevent it from downloading stuff I don't want. Does anyone know how to help?

If the song is still in the store check to see if you've hidden it : Hide and unhide music, movies, TV shows, audiobooks, and books - Apple Support

If it's not you will have to sync it from your computer's iTunes library to the phone
