Recovering old accounts
I have an old itunes account and can't remember the password. Email account associated with that is closed. Cannot play songs in my itunes purchased from that account. any way to recover

I see you're having some issues signing in to an older iTunes Store account. Most iTunes accounts are tied to an Apple ID using the same email address. Start by going to https://iforgot.apple.com and see if you can reset the password. If you are not able to do that and the account has two-factor authentication enabled, you may be able to request account recovery.
