New resolution for 4:3 aspect ratio

Hello.

I have a new iMac 2019 with a display 4k and Radeon Pro 560X 4 GB video card.

These are all my supported resolutions:

I want a higher resolution for 4:3 aspect ratio. How can I achieve that?

For example: 1280x960, 1400x1050 ,1600x1200, etc.

By default, you only see certain resolutions. To see all of the ones your monitor and video hardware can communicate with…

  1. Open the System Preferences.
  2. Click on the Displays icon. If the Display tab isn't highlighted, click that.
  3. Change the radio button from Default for display to Scaled.
  4. Now for the trick. Option+Click directly on the word, Scaled.

You should now see more resolution choices.
