iphone 8plus battery percentage stuck

Yesterday I was charging and I noticed my phone’s battery percentage wasn’t changing at all. I tried to restart my phone then the battery percentage was updated, so I charged it again but the battery percentage doesn’t go up at all. I also updated to ios 12.4.1 and reset the settings but still it did not change. how do i fix this? :(
