Freezing at 100% upon start up.

i downloaded a driver for pro tools 2019.6 which requires restarting your computer upon completion. It attempted to Restart and will not complete the restart. After putting in my password it freezes when the load bar is at 100%

Boot into Safe Mode:

Shut down your Mac, and then hold down the shift key. That would make items run that are required, and only as required. If it runs, then it’s most certainly this software.
