I am done trying to help you.

You have the solution to keep your photos in one place, which is ICloud Photo Library.

I am assuming, because you have not provided details to the contrary, the photos being synced via iTunes ARE ALSO in your local photos library.

If so, ALL of your photos in your local Photos Library will sync to iCloud and after that, will sync to your device. One library in 2 "safe" places.

As part of that process, you MUST remove the iTunes synced photos from your device. After that the iCloud Photo Library syncing process will put them back on your phone. You have no choice.

Please read the documentation for iCloud Photo Library. Nobody here can read your mind to figure out what you want, what you know and what you don't know.

ok...

The iCloud Photo Library "process" REPLACES syncing with iTunes. As technology moves forward, so do processes and features.

When iTunes first synced photos with devices, the "cloud" did not exist at the consumer level.

I am a bit confused. You don't want both libraries synced, correct?.

If you read the message, the photos ON YOUR DEVICE will be removed. Isn't that what you want?

but my old synced iTunes photos about 26K photos and videos didn’t want to sync to iCloud from my iPhone XS MAX

If you want to maintain BOTH libraries syncing with iCloud, you can't using 2 syncing methods.

What i mean by logic, Apple should design anything to keep my 500GB photos library, i didn’t design iTunes or iCloud, it’s their products, i paid for 2TB iCloud storage to keep my photos safe, so it’s not logical at all for all these Apple services to not work in harmony,

what i need is how to keep this dumb photo library without deleting half of it for Apple’s defective design sake?!

But they didn't.

No amount of moaning or appealing to logic here in this community will change this.

You have choices - accept this and move on, provide your Feedback where it may influence the developer or get another product.

No, I’m done with iTunes syncing, it’s been 2-3 years last time i synced photos back to my iPhone,

now i bought a 2TB iCloud storage and i want to backup all my 500GB photos library to iCloud photos, that’s where i saw that terrifying message that says to delete a 26K iTunes synced photos

i need a solution to keep all my photos in one place synced to iCloud photos

and sure without deleting those 26K photos

Yes maybe you’re right there’s a lack of information

i have now all my photos on my iPhone

i don’t have them on my my 256GB MacBook Pro

thats why i hav to sync them to iCloud photo from my iPhone

if i get a MacBook with more storage and import all my iPhone photos to macOS photos, will i be able to sync them all to iCloud photos from the Mac?
