How do I block a person sending ads in instant text message?

How can I block SMS advertisements? I receive too many texts from restaurants, insurance companies and many random vendors. When I receive the text the name shows, for example Dominos AD. When I navigate to the contact info, it doesn't show a name or number. And when I choose Block Caller, it doesn't block future texts.

Option to block text senders is not present below messages I have been getting a lot of spam texts lately. According to the information I have searched on the web, I am supposed to click on the message and select "block sender." However, the option to block the sender of a text message is not present below the unsolicited text from someone not on my contact list. How can I fix this issue?
