How can I block SMS advertisements?

I receive too many texts from restaurants, insurance companies and many random vendors. When I receive the text the name shows, for example Dominos AD. When I navigate to the contact info, it doesn't show a name or number. And when I choose Block Caller, it doesn't block future texts.

Stopping Unknown Texts esp. Political Ads/Texts I have all the settings set up properly to block unknown texts yet I am still getting ~10 texts today from people not in my Address Book which is getting very annoying. Most of these are political ads/text not even in my area code which is a huge waste of time. Tp be clear, I have done the following: Messages>Filter Unknown Senders and turned on Notifications>Customized Notifications>Message>Unknown Senders and turned on Blocked individual numbers when the text comes but they constantly change their phone numbers so this seems to be a waste On Phone>Silence Unknown Caller and turned On Even though I have all these setting like this for 2 months I am still getting unwanted texts. What else should I try?

Block sms messages with no actual number Do you know about a way to block spam sms messages with no actual phone number behind them? this becomes very annoying as I am receiving many spam sms messages everyday.

I dealt with it by contacting my carrier and they gave me a number to message so they can disable SMS advertisements
