MacBook Air Fan Noise??

My Mac's fan is running constantly. The noise has gotten quieter, but it is still running aloud, and I have never heard this before now. I have done the SMC reset, and a safe mode restart or boot. I couldn't really tell that either of these helped. My temps are normally and it isn't overheating. I have been on and off with support trying to resolve issue. I was wondering if anyone had any other ideas as to what it could be or what I could do to try and fix it. I am trying to avoid taking it in only because I have to have it for school. If anyone could help at all, that'd be awesome! I am open to trying anything. I just want to make sure its okay.

Thanks in advance!

If the fan is making noise, then either something is stuck in the fan, or the fan housing is dented/bent or the fan is defective. Is there any dents or indentations on the bottom case of the laptop near the fan? If the case is dented then the dent may be pushing against the fan and have bent the fan housing as well.

FYI, you have to be extremely careful if you decide to disconnect the fan from the Logic Board. The locking lever for the fan connector is very easy to pop off when locking it down even if you are extremely careful. The lever tends to slide off very easily. There is a very good chance you will lose the tiny lever. If you lose the lever, then later take it in for service Apple will charge you for a replacement Logic Board.

I would recommend taking it in for service to Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider.
