Ipad stuck in split screen

Hi there! My device is stuck frozen in split screen and both apps are not working. I have tried swiping up and pinching the screen. I’ve also tried holding down the power and volume buttons to reset it but nothing is working

iPad Pro 12.9-inch, 3rd Gen, Wi-Fi, Cell

You're not using the correct procedure to reboot an iPad Pro 3rd Generation.


Here's how you do it:


  1. Press and quickly release the volume up button
  2. Then press and quickly release the volume down button
  3. Then press and keep holding the power button (keep holding past the swipe to power off) until the Apple Logo appears, then let go
