Instagram, Twitter, snapchat and photos on whatsapp don’t work when I’m not connected to WiFi, however I can use safari. I’ve had a phone upgrade and the problem still persists so it’s not a problem with the actual phone - must be settings or a network problem?
ive tried resetting it, updating my iOS, deleting apps, and resetting my network settings. I can’t find anything online similar to this problem and nothing I’ve tried has fixed it.

And what happens when you try to use these apps? What error message do you see?
It could be corruption in iOS. Make a backup of your phone, then restore it as new and download each of these apps. Test them and see if they work as expected.
If so, then there's a software bug in your install of iOS and starting from new is the best way to deal with that.

It’s not a problem with the individual apps - they work completely fine when I’m connected to WiFi.
