Apple Watch Series 3 screen detached from watch

Hi all, I am wondering if you can help me out? My dad's apple watch series 3 screen detached from his watch this week because it fell from a table. I looked at the price to get it fixed and didn't like what I saw. I've been surfing the internet ever since and can't seem to find a screen so I can replace it for him. Can the previous generation of apple watches i.e. series 1, 2 screens be able to fit onto my dads series 3 watch?

Any help would be appreciated!
