I have an iPhone 8+. I'm going overseas and want to add as much protection to it in case it gets stolen or someone wants to try to hack it in terms of my wifi, photos, contacts, browsing, etc. Are there any suggested apps (mcafee mobile security, Norton security for iPhone) that I should install to protect my iPhone?

You do not need to add any anti-virus apps to the phone. As long as you have 2 factor authenticaton on your Apple ID and have strong passwords on your accounts, a passcode on the screen, and Find My iPhone turned on, your data is safe.

Not so sure what you mean, "more than one passcode to access my iPhone"
The iPhone cannot be hacked as long as it has not been jailbroken. As far as malware, it cannot be installed, however make sure you stay away from questionable websites to help.
Also, I'm not looking for an anti-virus app, just a mobile security app to protect my phone from malware, and from hackers who want to access information on my iPhone like photos, passwords for websites, etc.
