Trying to reset password as my son has forgotten it. Ipad will not connect to Itunes. getting frustrated.

Try this link, if no help, if you have original receipt, and with ID, take iPad to Apple Store, or Authorized Apple Service Provider to help you out. Make sure you son writes down passcode, and keep it in safe place for the next time. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204306
