Stand function does not work on Apple watch series 3

I just got my watch yesterday and the stand function was working fine - it registered 2 hours this morning now does not

I have tried updating and restarting the watch with no luck

I got in touch with Apple support and had to un-pair my watch then pair it again and it seems to be working now.

If I understand your post correctly, the Stand reminder is not working on your Apple Watch. The Stand feature is a great way to make sure you're moving throughout the day. I’d like to help.

On your iPhone, tap the Watch App > Health > Wheelchair. Check to see if the wheelchair status is either enabled or disabled.
